A context beyond you
This weekend my co-founders, our wives, and I sat together to further create the context for our shared work and life this year and beyond.
This was preceded by our joint participation in a workshop last week in the Netherlands, led by our mentor Ria: Creating 2026.
In the world of personal development and transformation, many people seem to be missing a crucial part when it comes to truly living what you create.
A context beyond you.
In our meeting, we shared what we want to stand for in 2026. Each person shared what that is.
From there, we looked at what needs to happen for this to remain true throughout the year. Then we looked at what each of us needs to let go of in order to take on these new commitments.
And finally, we asked each other: What do you need from us as a community to make this come true?
The result? Clarity. Connection. And a context that is bigger than any one of us.
This is not a new idea. But it is rarely truly lived.
A context beyond you means: You don't create alone. You are embedded in something bigger – a team, a community, a vision.
And this embeddedness changes how you act. Not through pressure, but through belonging.
What is your context beyond you?
