If you are really honest with yourself, and you looked at all areas of your life, what would you find?
For most people the answer would be that they are getting by. That there is a profound sense of resignation with the state of affairs. That we have accepted our fate as little human beings who can't really make a difference.
Politics? "What can I do?"
Health? "What can I do?"
Money? "What can I do?"
State of the world? "What can I do?"
Education? "What can I do?"
It is so all-encompassing that we do not tend to notice it. The conspiracy is so big that everyone seems to support our resignation. We say things like - "See? What can you do?"
And as much as we can collect evidence for our not making a difference, we could find just as much evidence for the opposite. People who have taken on the stand that they do make a difference. That they can cause a world.
But how can I? You might ask.
I don't know. What I do know is where to start: by getting honest that you live inside this resignation. By naming it for what it is. And by having a look at the place from where we ask the question - still waiting for someone to come along and finally show us the way.
But what if you are the one who creates the way?
What if who we have been waiting for is YOU?
Wake up from this sleep. Get off the couch. Start holding yourself as someone who makes a difference - who creates the path instead of just getting by.
Next week our year-long education starts. If you are a leader, coach, or someone who works with people and you want to make a difference with them - this is your last call to join.
Warmly,
Moritz
