A couple of weeks ago, I attended the beautiful 'Being Business' Intensive, led by coaches Moritz Lembert and Ria Bauhofer in Vienna. What started as an intention to look at my business and expanding it, turned out into so much more. As things became more real and vulnerable, the little voice inside urged me to retreat and run from being challenged. Being truly 'seen' by these two master coaches, in front of an audience of 20 very powerful people in their very own right, was intense... One thing I'm very good at, is hiding behind a mask of 'Looking good and perfect'. I do that so people can't judge or reject me.
But boy, did Moritz and Ria see right through that. And there was no hiding possible. I surrendered completely and experienced deep insights: -What I have come to see about myself, is that I shied away from showing 'all of Me' for so long. Rooted from a story of 'not being good enough as I am', I couldn't fully be Me. -What I have come to see about myself, is that I often found myself in the Observer stance of my life and business. Standing on the sideline of my own life, I didn't fully risk it. On the first day of Moritz Lembert’s Being Business Intensive we were asked why we had chosen to be there. For me there was no specific reason other than the logical continuation of the journey I had embarked on since my first encounter with my coach, Moritz Lembert in 2022 – although it may have been one or many lifetimes ago … Why would you NOT be here, was the first thing that came to my mind?! For me the Being Business Intensive is all about claiming your truth. It’s about choosing the courage to take a stand for who you are, be it in your business or anywhere else in life. Since everything is created through YOU and from who you decide to be. To manifest greatness in your business, you must manifest greatness everywhere, from a genuine intention. And to make greatness your reality it’s not so much the great, but the little things that make all the difference. You can practice awesomeness in every single encounter you have: in how you talk to your neighbor when leaving the house in the morning, how you address the cashier in your local supermarket, the stranger on the street … It’s all there for you to mirror your being, to practice being who you truly want to be. What made the intensive particularly special for me as a voice coach was witnessing the consistent emphasis on speech and presentation woven like a red thread throughout the entire three-day event. Up till then I used to get frustrated and feel misunderstood when people insisted the essence of my expertise revolved primarily around vocals. I felt I was so much more given the richness of my life’s experiences and my wanting to similarly inspire and deeply transform the lives of others. All of a sudden I understood people had been seeing my true value all along. I realized what a gift I had been given creating myself specifically as a voice coach, since what we speak is crucial to how we present ourselves and how we choose to be in this world. Moritz has been my coach now for over 4 years. I was then a bodywork practitioner working and scrambling for a mediocre hourly rate. Fear of money and not having enough was for 30 years my biggest concern. Moritz made me see what possibility's ly in myself to develop any kind of business and life. At the time of writing, I am on a year-long apprenticeship coaching with Moritz and I must say: there are very few people in my life that have a level of commitment to continuous growth this man has. Moritz is not the same person I knew 11 months ago. Hell, he's not even the same from 1 month ago! I attribute that to what seems like a constant process of getting back to the whiteboard and re-creating himself anew every day. That has an impact on people. It for sure had an impact on me. Over the last two years, I have invested in my personal and professional development by working with Moritz Lembert as my coach. Moritz helps you get clarity around the big questions and roadblocks between you and your goal. What did become possible for you with participating in the theme with Intensive? There were a lot of new ideas in my head when I was here and when I was planning to come. And what became possible is that I saw which idea I had to follow and which parts of my life I had to organize in a different way. So there was space to create new things. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? Stop thinking, because if you think too much about it, you are going to kill the vibe that's in it. And if you just join, you will see that the thinking that you did in advance isn't anything like what is coming to you.
What did become possible for you in participating in the Being Business? What became possible for me in the being business intensive is that I could see myself totally different from who I was when starting off on day one. It was really like stepping into a new reality of myself and really creating myself, just it shifted in one night. I could feel it in the morning that there happened a lot in me and it made me stand in my new reality. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? Someone who is hesitating about joining the Being Business Intensive or the Being Business Program is just stop hesitating and just do it. You will get a lot out of it, only business-wise, but it goes so much further. What I saw happening in the room was like a massive impact in everyone's life, in every area. So not only in the business because the pattern just runs through all areas in life. So you will get great benefits on every area in your life. ____________________________________________ How are you now? What did you learn so far? The most important thing I learned is that I really need to take action, I really need to stop thinking about it, ruminating about what I should do, what I can do, what the possibilities are. I just wrote down actions and just take action and really get out of there, get full out of there, getting full out into the world, really living into my business and into what I'm speaking. The vision that I'm having now was never so big as I'm having now after this week. I'm really eager to get back home and to put everything into action, to put everything in the world, to connect with people. Yeah, it seems like I'm not talking too big enough. Yeah, I'm feeling energized. I'm feeling full of inspiration. Yeah, the connection with the group was so enriching that I'm inspired for the next year. I've got a lot of notes that I can turn back to if I'm losing energy. The group will be still alive, the program will be still alive after this location. So I'm really looking forward to keeping sharing, to keep in contact with the group, and to go from here, to grow from here, and to watch everybody's business grow as we planned out here in this week. ____________________________________________ I can already feel the impact it has on my business because I know now the actions I have to take and I can already feel the impact it will have. I can really get clear on the vision and the mission and everything that's possible for me. So I can already feel I have connection. A clear view of what the vision will be or how it will feel. And that's what's most important so I can step into the possibilities and really live it starting from now. ____________________________________________ My intention to start the program was to have a, to make time and space to have a look at my business and to really take the time to look at the numbers and to get specific on things and to what was meant. I really wanted to expand my business because I'm a young entrepreneur. just started and I try to expand my business. So that's why I'm coming here. ____________________________________________ So the next one is what would you say to someone thinking about joining the next program? I would really encourage people to join the Being Business program. People who want to have a look at their business, who want to make space for their business, be honest with them, and to be honest with themselves, and to be honest with their business. For me, it was very nice to connect with the group, with other group members, other entrepreneurs, to get other visions, other perspectives, different angles. It was very enriching to hear other entrepreneurs talk about their path and how they built up their business and their company. So there were a lot of insights coming from different angles. There are a lot of members you can have conversations with, and so there is always perspective you resonate more than other perspectives and so you can turn back to your own business and to yeah to how you can implement these strategies they use in your business and gets a lot of get a lot of insights and inspiration.
What did become possible for you if you participated in the Being Business? The insight that everything is possible when I'm open to the moment that I can create who I want to create, and so that contributes to every layers in my life and to everyone that I can connect with. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? Just do it, it will change your life.
My intention starting this program was going deep and really focus on how I am being in my business that doesn't work. And especially because I am also in a relationship in the business, which makes the whole dynamic even more complex. More clarity. And also especially being with other people that are also, well, maybe as crazy as I am about what they're doing and how they're doing it and they cannot stop or they cannot help themselves, but do it. I think that it's the same as why coaches can have a big impact on their clients, is that you... realize that asking myself better questions gets me out of my habitual way of thinking. And I can only ask myself the questions that I can come up with. And here there are 10 people that give me or give me the... Yeah, they give me better questions, but they also give me some information that I can come up with better questions for myself. So, yeah, that's it, really. And then insights will eventually or immediately come because of that instead of finding a solution to the problem.
My intention starting the Being Business program was really to have a stronger foundation for building a coaching practice and becoming a stronger coach. Those are really my two big focuses coming into the program. I see it impacting every area, not just of my business, but of my life too. We talked about a lot of concepts and there was so much information, but if I had to put it into words, I would say it would impact my business the most in how much impact I'm able to generate for my clients and prospective clients. I feel like my understanding of service and impact went up like sixfold while I've been here.
My intention starting the program was to get better at sales, somehow also to build up the coaching practice and just getting more money. It's not a question I can answer very quickly. I think Moritz did an amazing job in having a very professional way of being also as a coach and how he's perceiving coaching. And this is the reason why it will not just impact how I'm like, for example, selling or becoming clients, become clients, but how I will do coaching also. I think this is the greatest part in his impacting my whole coaching experience for my clients. ____________________________________________ The next is what would you say to someone thinking about joining the next program? I would say they should definitely do it because the value of the program or how he builds it up is immensely impactful. Like the transition, how fast you can implement the stuff is. That's amazing. Like you can really change a lot in a few, few short, short period of time. I think for me the most important thing was that I started to see different selling. I started to see as a service, really as giving something and not taking, not seeing the person in front of me as a possibility to get money, but really to see the person in front of me as the possibility to impact him or her so that they will give me my money. It's a different perspective of not wanting to have it, not because of the money. It's not a money game, it's an impact game. And this is a very, very profound difference, a slightly different but huge impact. I Think Well, I'm ready to start right I'm fired up I want to do something I want to change something I want to put the knowledge into action I want to implement it I want to do it very very very fast and of course I Feel different in a way that this is possible. It's not just an idea to make a million or make 500,000 a year, it's starting to get like really a possibility and that's a different state of being, right? I feel different because of that.
What did become possible for you with participating in the business intensive? For me, it already started when I claimed my space here. Magic began to happen because I realized that I am doing business in my life. So a whole new world opened up to me. And here I got the… I’m missing the world. I found out that I can do anything because I allow it. And that’s really powerful and moving and new. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? Do it. Feel into it. If you feel like doing it, it. It’s just like that.
What did become possible for you with participating in the Be My Business intensive? So I think this weekend was nothing like I imagined. I thought I would come in and get a full strategy on how to build my business. And I think the little mini aha moments and realizations and breakthroughs that happened for me were really more to do with my self-belief and my self-confidence and how much of that was holding me back and making me undermined and doubt myself and coming away from this weekend, you're of just pushing and breaking through all these stories that you tell yourself that are not true. And so that has significantly changed my mindset and how I approach my business life. What would you say to someone who's thinking about participating? I would say come here and definitely do it because it's not like any other business event that you've ever done and it goes at such a deep level and challenges the things that are so not true but we've carried from our childhood that just don't need to be there anymore and are unfortunately holding us back in everything in life and relationships and in business. We don't need that stuff. We need to let it go. So if you're not sure about your life, any area of your life, even though this is about business, get yourself to one of these weekends.
What did become possible for you with participating in the Being Business intensive? I think possible for me became to experience myself very differently to what I expected was within me. And I'm very, very much looking forward to enable these possibilities, like being a person that I hardly knew that I was. What would you say to someone who's thinking about participating? I would say to a person who thinks about participating, would say, just do it. I think it's worth it. Just take the plunge, as I did. I received the impulse, so to say, to just go in there, overcome your fears, because that's probably a thing you might have to do. There's other people who get pretty open and seem to have a lot of routine in doing that. And time by time, day by day, you realize that everybody is bringing in their deep conflicts and vulnerabilities. And that's the beauty of it, you know. And then all of a sudden, you experience yourself by peeling off layer by layer and making yourself more more transparent, although it costs you. But this process of realizing how much it costs you was to me one of the most beautiful experiences that I had.
What did become possible for you with participating in the Being Business program? Participating in the Being Business program really realized me that sometimes you don’t really get to the essence of why you don’t do certain things you do. Maybe because you don’t really believe in them or you don’t really want to be there, you don’t really stand for them. I think it really cuts the crap if you want to play the game. Then you can actually have the possibility to go for that. That’s what I got from it and it’s a lot. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? I would say if somebody would like to participate to the Being Business program, I think you could open up a world of possibilities because it’s about taking away what’s holding you down and it’s just that simple.
What did become possible for you if participating in the Being Business? So, oh, that's so amazing. Everything became possible. First of all, I get to be the cause in the matter of my own life. I get in the driver's seat of the bus, and I go down that freeway, and I get to say that was possible after three days. Okay. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? So if you're thinking about participating, you're just doing more thinking. You might want to just put yourself in the course, and you come here and you get yourself in the course and you generate your life because wherever you're thinking, you're just doing more thinking, which is not an action. So take action, get in the course, and you'll see that everything is possible by being in the course.
What did become possible for you if participating in the Being Business, and what would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? What became possible or what became possible for me was really having a completely clear sight on where I am, how I hold myself back, which I didn’t think I did. But I do, or I did, I did. And what do I have to do to be fully committed and present to what I actually want in my business and in life? So I think that’s a million-dollar possibility that became really clear. And I don’t want anything more. The second one, why I really think that people would benefit doing this, is for the same reason, to get clear, really, really clear on how you lie to yourself or what you, the lies that you tell to yourself, and how you hold yourself down. How you not, how you hold yourself back for not becoming fully into the game, into your business, into your life, into relationships, anything, every aspect of life. And I wanted to say that. I think that people think this is about being a business owner. But I think this is for everybody, especially when you’re in a business, working as an employee, even, and really want to excel in what you do. And that’s the same as being a business owner. Whatever you do. Different answer though.
What did become possible for you if participating in the Being Business? So it became possible is that trusting myself way more than before. Trusting my impulses, my ideas, and the value of actions. Just acting like a child that feels the excitement of doing something they love and going for it like truly going for it. What would you say to someone who is thinking about participating? I would say to embrace the unknown and just go for it because it’s worth it. It’s also worth the uncomfortable feelings you might be confronted with, and the breakthroughs, and just throw yourself in it.
